Face Invaders

Description

Face Invaders is an arcade shooter in a cartoon sky. Flying faces come at you in formation, like in the arcade classics, while you stand on a floating platform with a toy blaster in your hand. They spit at you and dive at your head.

Pop them all and build your gun from the loot they drop: grab a part and plug it in with your own hand, and the gun changes at the next shot. Scatter, rapid and rail barrels, fire, ice and shock cores, homing and ricochet muzzles. Build a gun that fits your style, then a second one. 100 levels, four worlds, giant bosses.

Build your gun

• Four ports: barrel, core, muzzle and sight
• 12 parts in five rarities: scatter, rapid and rail barrels; fire, ice and shock cores; ricochet, splitter, homing and piercing muzzles; a crit scope and a laser sight
• Grab a part and plug it in with your hand: the gun changes at the next shot
• A second gun after the first boss, built your own way

Faces with attitude

• Helmets to shoot off, spitters, kamikazes, splitters, healers and golden jackpot faces
• Blocks, wedges, rings and deep ranks, and faces that break formation to attack from the side
• Giant bosses: a horned brute, a King and a stone head with eye lasers to dodge

100 levels, four worlds

Sunset Bay, Moon Garden, Lava Sky and Toxic Moon, with a Golden Rush bonus level and a boss in every ten. Then Infinite mode for the high score.

Arcade to the core

• Combos up to x25
• Falling bonuses you shoot to take, but some of them are bad
• Leaderboards with your friends and the world, 17 achievements
• Leave a run and continue it later

Play your way

• Stand in place, no walking: snap turn, a side step and height calibration for seated play
• 13 languages
